Ben Fahrbach is in his second year of taking photos for Indy Sports Legends. Here is a slideshow of 18 shots from Purdue’s 55-24 loss to Northern Illinois on Saturday. Included are several shots of Danny Etling, the freshman quarterback who replaced Rob Henry.

Etling got positive reviews from many of the fans. Many liked the zip he had on the ball and were surprised by his mobility. Henry completed just 5 of 16 passes for 130 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Etling stepped in and connected on 19 of 39 passes for 241 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Hazell didn’t say after the game if the switch to Etling was a permanent one. He said that was one of many situations they would evaluate during the bye week before the Boilermakers welcome Nebraska to Ross-Ade Stadium.
