“I’m sorry to all fans, coaches, and players but I’ve decided to de-commit from Purdue and open my recruitment!,” the ex- 2016 commit tweeted from his account. Walker can be found @Cj_Walker1 on Twitter.

Walker originally committed to Purdue on Oct. 28, 2014. Walker is the sixth ranked player in the state of Indiana’s 2016 and 28th best point guard in the national class based on ESPN Recruiting Nation.

The Butler Bulldogs appear to be early favorites to land Walker.

As of now, the Boilermakers have no other commits for the 2016 class.
