Mahlmann’s Photo Gallery: Purdue Sweet 16 Loss to Saint Peter’s

Philadelphia, PA — ISL photographer Trevor Mahlmann was on hand as the 3 seed Purdue Boilermakers took on the 15 seed Saint Peter’s Peacocks in the Sweet 16. The game was played in the Wells Fargo Center. Although Purdue clung to a four point lead at halftime, the Boilermakers ultimately fell to the Peacocks 67-64, largely due to Purdue’s 15 turnovers and inability to get to the free throw line (only 15 attempts). Purdue did play a part in making history as Saint Peter’s became the first 15 seed to reach an Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament.
