This is a shot from a timeout during the gold medal basketball game at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It’s on the list because I like the photo, and because it was, well, the gold medal game. USA beat Spain. Highlight: They did a crowd shot of David Beckham and he got louder cheers than Kobe. And it happened while my wife was on the phone at 3:30 a.m. Indiana time.
