Pete Hartley ran for 276 yards and five touchdowns to help Chatard defeat Guerin Catholic 34-7 on Friday night.

Chatard ran for 394 yards against Guerin, more than the Trojans have gained against any opponent on the ground this season.

The constant rain may have played a part in the play calls, as Chatard had 58 carries also a season high. Chatard received the kickoff and started from their own 5. Pete Hartley took the handoff on every play of the first drive, and he capped it with a 26 yard touchdown run. The rout was on from there.

Fishers running back Maurice Campbell ran for 199 yards on just eight carries, including three long touchdowns, in a 28-7 win over Lafayette Jefferson on Friday night.

The Tigers needed a running game because the Tigers were forced to sit injured starting quarterback Connor Christiansen.

The Tigers also held Lafayette Jefferson’s Darian Green to 29 yards on 18 attempts.

Up 7-0 after the first quarter, Campbell scored on a 54-yard run with 5:54 left in 2nd quarter to put the Tigers up 14-0 going into halftime.

Campbell would help secure the road victory with touchdown runs of 39 and 47 yards in the third quarter to put the Tigers comfortably ahead 28-0.

The Tigers running game was back on track with a team total of 274 yards on just 27 carries.

Tigers senior quarterback Ben Pritchett, coming back from an injury that had kept him out much of season, was 9 for 14 for 118 yards and an early TD pass.

Fishers hosts undefeated Brownsburg next.
