Pacers F Paul George is East Player of the Week

NEW YORK – The Indiana Pacers’ Paul George was named the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, Nov. 4, through Sunday, Nov. 10.

George led Indiana to the only undefeated record in the Eastern Conference on the week (4-0). At 7-0, the Pacers are off to their best start in franchise history and are the league’s lone remaining unbeaten team. George led the Pacers in scoring in all four games, and his 24.8 ppg average ranked fifth in the East. The fourth-year forward chipped in with 7.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.75 steals. George collected his second double-double of the season with 31 points and 10 rebounds on Nov. 5, a 99-91 win over the Detroit Pistons.

Nov. 5 @ Detroit: Recorded 31 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 99-91 win over the Pistons..

Nov. 8 vs. Toronto: Posted 23 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals during a 91-84 win over the Raptors.

Nov. 9 @ Brooklyn: Scored 24 points and added six rebounds and two assists in a 96-91 win over the Nets.
